We are loving scouts!! This was our first Blue and Gold Banquet and Kev and Mac (and Ben and Maggie) all had fun making the cake that the boys were required to make with their dads.
The theme the cake needed to be centered around was "Resourceful" this was a tough theme. In the end we decided that it was pretty dang resourceful to first make a cake without baking it and second to make a snow cave when you are stranded in the wild, and to make that cave close to a water source. Now how was that for using your imagination!!
Kev took this very seriously!
He took it seriously but Mac (and Ben) were right there working just as hard.
Everyone wanted in on the action. We all had a great time. I just sat back and watched it all unfold and took pictures of course!! I see many more fun years in store with scouting. P.S. Guess who the new cub scout master is...... Yep its me!!
