My Trip to Heaven on Earth (no I didn't go to Beaver, Heaven is a big place!)
In March my wonderful friend Megan surprised me and came to see me in Beaver. Well when she left she made me promise her I would come and visit her. I did, I really did all by myself. I have such a great husband that encouraged me to take this trip and not worry about anything. Well I worried, but that's my nature. I had a awesome time! I survived the plane trip and I could not believe how green it was when the plane was landing, it took my breath away. The picture above is the view out Megan's door, isn't it gorgeous!
This is a view on the way to Megan's house.
Megan has some property just down the road from her house. This is Megan and Sophie standing in a most beautiful part of their property, can you believe this is just down the road from her house and it's so green!
HEHEHEHE This is also on her property by the restrooms. I had to post it!!
Multnomah Falls takes your breath away right?! And for any of those Twilight junkies a lot of the filming for the first movie took place in this area.
Making our way up to the waterfall.
Meg has such great kids. I am so glad that I was able to meet them and spend some time with them.
We made it!
Ok, so Meg and I are Twilight junkies and when Meg found out that the place where they had the prom in the first movie was within a half an hour of her home, she knew we needed to go. Sadly to say she text me a few weeks ago telling me that this place had burned down. Sad, but glad we were able to make it before.
Check out this view, this is looking the other way from the twilight house
Can you believe all the trees holy cow!!
Seriously there are waterfalls every where!!
One stop that was wonderful was to the Oregon Temple. It is beautiful, surrounded by trees, just awesome!! I had the time of my life. It was so fun to be able to be with my life long friend and catch up. To be able to meet her husband and kids and see how happy she is, I loved it! Thank you Meg for making my trip so wonderful and being the best friend any girl could ask for.
