We all love to carve the pumpkin but getting the guts out of the pumpkin is so gross (
that's what Kev and the kids say.) I am usually the one who get this lovely job but this year I had some helpers. Don't they looked like they are loving it!!!
We had a Trunk-or-treat this year at the church. It was fun they had a little
carnival set up so the kids could go get their treats and then have fun with games.
Abi had two different costumes this year she started out as a Ninja for a girls scouts activity and then put this attire on to help with the
carnival. She is funny she does not think she is too old to trick or treat so she snuck out for a few minutes from the games and did a little trunk or treating and then headed back. I love that she
appreciates being young and doesn't try to grow up so fast.
Our knight in shining armor!! Kind of, the armor isn't real shiny and he didn't want to wear his helmet. Last year he wanted to be a knight so bad and we were excited to find some gear for him. He was so good to help take Ben around to the different cars so I could had out candy. I guess I should say he was so good at taking care of Ben until his friend found him and then he forgot about Ben. Oh well he is a good little man!!
Hulk!!! Ben usually is several different characters during Halloween. At one school party he was a frog at another he was a ninja and this is what he decided on for Halloween night. I love this kid talk about someone who enjoys life to the fullest. He loves trick or treating. When Mac went with his friend he still went around to the cars by himself (I hate to say this but he probably made the rounds 3 or 4 times, he came and emptied his bag twice. Needless to say
Abi and Mac couldn't believe how much candy he had.) After he was done getting candy he made his way back to sit in the van with me and Maggie and he handed out the candy. I loved having him there with me.
What can I say I went through two boys before getting another little girl. I will do pink ,purple, curls, butterflies,
fairies, and princess as long as I can!

Abi and the doughnut is the stand that Kev ran at the
carnival. We were glad that he could help out but sad that he couldn't be with us. Miss Maggie and the candy she was my helper she loved every minute of it. She put one piece of candy in after another and couldn't believe I was letting her. It's Halloween candy is free game!!!!! What a great Halloween we had!!!
