Geocaching Kev took the kids out Geocaching (treasure hunting) and they loved it!

Fun Times with Cub Scouts Mac has loved cub scouts and done so well. We had fun at his pack meeting in October where we had a picnic and then Mac was presented some awards.

Look at my love bug he's so handsome!

Ok sorry Abi girl this isn't the best picture in the world, but I wanted to let the world know that Miss Abi is no longer a "Brace face!" Hehehe, I have to say the money was well worth the results! Now if I can just get her to wear her retainers.

Happy birthday to my Kevi! I have felt bad for awhile now so I might as well confess it. I didn't make Kev's birthday as wonderful as it should have been. I love this man more than anything in the world and it should been the best most amazing day ever! and it wasn't I am sorry for that.
Instead of having a huge party he cut the boys hair. Oh well, this really was an adventure. We have been wanting to try to cut their hair for awhile, so we borrowed our friends kit to see if we wanted to invest in our own and went to town. I have to say I was so impressed with the job Kev did. Mac has a ton of hair and Kev made it look great! I wish I had the after photo, but for the life of me I can not find it.

Ben doesn't have as thick of hair as Mac so the trick here is to make sure he doesn't look like a cancer patient.

Kev did wonderfully! He loved doing it so much he told his mom that's what he would like for Christmas, and he got it! (yep I am a bit behind in my post. I am writing about things that happened in 2011, ands it's already 2012!!!)
I just had to include these pictures. The top is of miss Maggie in one of the boys t-shirts. She has so many darling pajamas, but she finds it necessary to take those off when I'm not looking and go to the boys room and dig through drawers and find the perfect shirt. She loves to come down and trots over to me, with her sweet smile, to see what I will do. The bottom is something she loves to do. She loves to be cuddled on the couch with a blanket.Sometimes when school is too much for her she will say, lay down mom.

Volleyball These aren't the best pictures, for some reason my camera does not like to take good pictures in this gym, oh well. Abi played Volleyball again this year and really enjoyed it. I love volleyball, it is really the only sport I really understand. I loved watching the attitude that Abi carried with her the whole season. Sometimes things didn't go the way I felt they should have, but Abi never pulled an ugly face or sulked on the bench and I truly admired her for that. Last year she wasn't sure about volleyball but I think it has become one of her favorite sports.

Baby girl gets her first hair cut. We waited til she was 2 and realized that it just wasn't going to be long flowing locks and so we decided to trim it up a bit and go for the overly cute bob look.
She did so well. My Friend Leslie did the hair cut and Maggie listened and did everything she was asked to do.

Now that's what we call perfection!!

Ready for school to start to show off her new hair cut.

Happy Birthday My Mac Man!! I know I say this every single birthday day blog, but I seriously can not believe that my Mac is 9!! He is such an amazing kid and we feel so thankful and blessed to have him in our home.
I mean look at that angel face!

Mr. Mac is way into Star Wars right now, so he was excited to get many different Star Wars toys and Lego sets.

For breakfast he wanted eggs in a hole, he loves them! For lunch I picked him up from school and we headed to McDonald's with Kev for a favorite lunch. For dinner it was the best treat ever, Grandma from beaver and Adam came and we had pizza.

The cupcakes I made to take to his class, they are vampire bats, and I do not plan to take up cake decorating any time soon!

Grandma brought a perfect cake! Thanks Grandma!!

Mac thought it was GREAT!

Having a little reading time with Grandma. We were so excited that Grandma and Adam could come for this special occasion. Grandma was also able to watch all the kids play soccer and they felt special and showed off a few tricks on the soccer field.

Thanks for coming and making Mac's day so wonderful!!

Mac is an amazing little man. He is a peace keeper in the home and has a tender heart. He can be super goofy and loves more than anything to scare the day lights out of people. You can always count on him hiding and jumping out at you every where you go. He is so good to Ben they are buddies! He loves to be outside playing football, soccer, or just digging in the dirt. He also loves video games so we have to keep an eye on that!

Some of his favorite foods are: Enchiladas with green sauce, eggs with Tabasco, Spaghetti, and Hot Cheetos (the flaming hot! it's funny to watch him eat these because his face gets red blotches all over and he starts to sweat, but he loves them)

His new favorite thing to do is watch football with his dad.

We LOVE you handsome boy!

Spirit Week

The kids had a great time participating in spirit week this year. Out of this world day! They are pretty out of this world kind of kids! Pretty much amazing!

Twin day- yep Kev and Abi were twins. It's Abi's last year at the middle school so they thought it would be fun. Mac had a little friend at school who was his twin as well, but he let Ben dress like him too.

Career day- My sweet photographer and my handsome politician.

Decades day for the boys. They both wanted to be grease monkeys from the 50's.

Last of all red and black day.

Abi taking part in the homecoming parade with the volley ball team.

The kids hanging with dad watching the parade. It was a great week!

Having fun with our fire pit We don't even have to go to the mountians to have a fire and roast hot dogs and make smores. We were so excited to receive a fire pit. We had a great time and some good grub!

My Baby Girl Turns 2!! It is hard to believe that my baby girl is already 2! Time flies so fast! She is such a fun little girl to have around. She loves her sibling more than anything in the world. For awhile she was calling ben boy. When she would watch him play soccer she would yell out, "Go BOY!!" She now calls him Ben though. She still calls Mac "Guy" no matter what he does she will not call him Mac. Abi goes by Abi which is ok but she really loves for the kids to call her "Sis," but Maggie will not. She knows how to go "KU-KU" on the toilet, but only does it when she feels the desire, usually during preschool when I am trying to teach the other kids. Speaking of Preschool she loves it! She thinks she is a hot shot and sits on the floor with the kids and brings her show and tell, draws pictures, and glues when ever she gets a chance. Pretty much she is a wonderful little Angel and we feel blessed to have her in our home.
She loved her birthday and opening gifts.

A baby! Oh how she adores babies!!
For breakfast she had waffles, she thought they were fantastic!
One thing that Maggie loves to do is build with Lego's. She will be quiet for long periods of time and I will go looking for her and this is what I find her doing, this is a relief because when my boys were quiet there was trouble.

Another thing she loves to do is snuggle in her blanket from Grandma. She will come and take my hand and say, "Lay down" this is my cue to go help her on the couch and cover her with her blanket. I forgot to mention this is her special blanket, when I say hers I mean hers she does not share it! (We need to work on that!)

For dinner Uncle Verle, Kennon, and Travis brought pizza and we had a great party.

We had red velvet cupcakes for dessert and she thought they were out of this world!

They were so good she was not willing to share it with dad!

Some of Miss Maggie other favorite things:

She loves to play outside and jumping on the tramp. For some reason when ever she wants to jump on the tramp she says, "Bee" I don't know why but that is her code for jump.

She wakes up first thing in the morning and asks for her cup, meaning she would like have her sippy filled with instant breakfast, please.

She is not a very good eater. The other day I asked her if she wanted a sandwich for lunch, she said, "No, cany (candy)" I am a little worried!

She thinks her dad hung the moon! When he walks in the door at night she stops what shes doing and runs to him.
Pretty much we are buddies through and through. She loves to play with my hair, it is her security blanket in a way. I pretty much here, "Mom" 20,000 times a day but I wouldn't change it! She loves to yell, "Mom" over and over and when I answer she either says, "Hi" or my all time favorite, "Lub (love) you mom." Even better, when she is in trouble she will all of a sudden say "Hug i need a hug." I mean really how can you get mad at that!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl Love you more than words can say!!
