Fishing in Utah Our neighbor Gary was telling the kids and Kevin about a fishing trip he took and caught 27 fishes. They didn't believe him so he decided to take them and prove it to them.
Well, he wasn't kidding! They caught fish after fish. They had the time of their lives! The one stipulation about this trip was that any fish that were brought home we had to eat. So they brought four fish home and on Sunday Gary cooked up a mighty fine trout dinner, and beleive it or not we all ate it!

Summer fun I love this picture. It captures a beautiful, pure, fun loving little girl. Well she's not so little any more. She is turning into a amazing young women, and sometimes I don't give her the credit that she needs. She loves to be with her family more than anything and I admire and cherish that.


All of the kids love to go fishing with their dad and they did catch some good size fish this year. Too bad we don't eat them we could have some great feasts.

I have to say my kids have been blessed with an amazing dad. He is willing to do fun things with them even if it mean being uncomfortable. The kids loved sleeping outside (I loved sleeping in my bed, well Maggie and I enjoyed the soft cozy bed.) Thanks Kev for being such a great dad!

Grandma and Grandpas house We had a great trip to New Mexico for the 4th of July. It was so great to see family, we were able to spend some time with Kevin's uncle Jeff, and his family, it has been a few years since we've been able to do that. It was fun to catch up.
We had lots of fun at Grandma and Grandpas house. The pool was a a big hit!

Girls Weekend 2011!! This post goes backwards so I will tell the girls weekend from the end to the beginning. We had an amazing time! We feel so blessed that mom takes the time to make such wonderful memories and a chance for us to be together and laugh together. Thank mom!!
This year we went to see The Little Mermaid. It was absolutely the best performance we have been to yet! Everything about it was great. I have to admit I was a little reluctant about going to this particular play, but I am so glad we did, it was awesome!
