My Baby Boy Had a Birthday!!!
It is hard to believe how fast time goes. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing home this beautiful little tiny baby, who really was a perfect little guy. Now he is heading into kindergarten. I have really started to understand what people are talking about when they say cherish these days because soon enough they are gone. Ben had a great day, I seriously believe though, every day for Ben is a great day. I have never met a kid like Ben, that is happy every single day and full to the brim with energy ready to eat life up!
He loved his presents, his sissy gave him this Captain America mask and he thought it was great!
So did Maggie!!
For breakfast he wanted the little boxes of cereal, juice and doughnuts.
He loves to eat outside, so that's where he ate.
He was thrilled that Grandma from Beaver, and Adam were able to come and spend the day, it made him feel so special to have such wonderful company. For his special birthday lunch he wanted pizza, so we headed to Strombolies (a favorite pizza place in town) and he was in Heaven, especially when they brought his brownie Sunday for his birthday dessert.
After lunch it was time to pull out the gift Uncle Rusty and Aunt Tracy had given him. He told them he wanted a pool and they delivered!! The kids had the time of their lives, and spent hours playing in it.
For dinner that night we headed to Antelope Point Marina for Nachos. Ben wanted nachos for dinner and we knew we could get some at Antelope and also show Grandma and Adam the floating restaurant. Ben loved being there, the nachos were OK, but what he really loved was being able to feed the huge carp fish that were begging for food. I am not sure who had more nachos the kids or the fish. Then home we headed where we all enjoyed some of Ben's birthday cake. He loves to choose the confetti cake with pink frosting, silly boy! 
As a special treat before he headed to bed that night Grandma read him a special bedtime story. What a great birthday!
Ben's birthday was celebrated over a few days. This was his birthday party year, he had his family party on his actual birthday and his friend birthday a few days later. On the day of his friend birthday party Kev took the kids out fishing. They had a great time. The fish above is Mac's a beautiful Walleye, he was so excited!! (oops I guess I put a picture of the striper I can't switch pictures so I will add it in another post. Guess I need to learn my fish!)
Adam was able to stay with us a few extra days after Grandma left. We love when he gets to come spend some time with us. He was thrilled to be able to go fishing on Lake Powell. The only thing that bummed him out was that we catch and release, he really wanted to eat it!
Then we ended the big party with a pinata!!
What can we say, we have been blessed with an amazing boy whom we love so very much! Here are a few of his favorite thing:
