After fifteen years of marriage it finally happened!!! That's right we finally have our own grass!!! We have been so blessed to have such a good friend, Steve, who has helped us every step of the way. Kev and Steve have worked so hard for many Saturdays getting everything in order. We now have a fine sprinkler system and beautiful grass to show for their hard work.
It has arrived. Let me tell the whole neighborhood was excited.
Even though it was late there was no stopping these men from getting the sod laid. Viv and Joe arrived about six and at eight Joe was out there working hard. I am afraid that he won't want to come to visit anymore we always put him to work.
Grandpa introduced Maggie to her first feel of grass. Ben thought it was pretty great as well.
AHHHHHH SWEET GRASS!!!
A little in the front as well.

It is hard for me to believe that another year has come and gone. I had two wonderful preschool classes this year totaling seventeen kids. I think it has been one of my favorite years. I do believe I say that every year. I just love teaching preschool!! Ben loves school, although he is a little bossy in the three year old class. I have decided to hold him back one more year, that way he will be the oldest rather than the youngest. I am a believer in that for boys.
Ok so I was in a hurry and didn't realize he had his hat on this way. I promise he didn't wear it like this for the program. Oh and he also didn't say he wanted to be wax when he grew up just rock man (from the movie, "Fantastic Four.")
Already for the four year old program!
Mac's Track MeetMac loved being able to participate in this year's track meet. He did the long jump as well as the 300 meter relay. Kev said he did so well ( I wasn't able to go. I was very sad but felt blessed Kev was able to be there.) In the relay he started and was in first place when he handed off.

Always have to have a picture of his buddy Landon. What good friends!
Can we say personality!!! Oh my, can she get any cuter? She is growing so much! And what a sweet sometimes naughty (I hate to admit that) little girl she is.
She loved having Grandma and Grandpa from New Mexico come and oh how she loved their little dog Zach. Poor little guy didn't know what he had coming.
Sporting her new blanket that GGMA Emily made her. Thank you GGMA we love it!
This is one of my favorite pictures. When she get upset or anxious she clasps her little hands together. She has always done this I just love it.
And we begin with the pulling out. AHHH it just seems too soon.
Oh how her brother loves her. He rescues her every morning. I sometimes will leave her in her bed just for a minute if she is happy. Mac doesn't agree with that. He will get her out and take care of her.

A few Saturdays ago I was enjoying a quiet moment but for some reason when those come around I am quickly called back to reality. As I came came back to I heard screaming. I knew instantly that it was Ben. My heart sank and as I opened the door Kev yells out, "Don't worry its not as bad as it looks." There was my baby boy with blood oozing down his face. Talk about freak out (on the inside of course, didn't want to freak Ben out.) We take him up to wash it off and realize it is very deep. We are so blessed to have so many friends in the medical field we were able to take him up the street to a friend's and see if we needed to take him to the E.R. He asked if we had super glue, yes of course we do, he told Kev to shave it and he would be right down to help seal it up.
He was pretty banged up, poor little guy. He was riding his scooter around the block and hit a rock the wrong way and he went sailing off. For me the saddest part is he was by himself so he had to walk home alone, break my heart.
Our friend, Steven, glueing his head back together. Ben thought it was the coolest thing to tell people that his head was glued together.
Spirit Week Abi loves spirit week!! From crazy hair day to formal day she gives it her all. What great school spirit she has.
