Our girl had a Birthday we shouted HURRAY!!!!
It is hard to believe that our baby girl is 11! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABI!! We had a great day. It was her non birthday party year so we spent the day as a family, and I loved it. She actually loved it as well. We were also able to celebrate early in Beaver with family so she partied for a few days. She wanted chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, Fiesta Mexicana for lunch, and Frito pie for dinner. We feel so blessed to have Abi in our family. Her brothers adore her, and being her parent is an honor. Sometimes I wish I could put a book on her head and stop her from growing, time just goes by so fast. WE LOVE YOU ABI GIRL!
She was so excited to open her gifts. She told us that she was going to wait till the night but once she walked down and saw them she couldn't wait, she had us all out of bed and was waiting in front of her gifts. She was so thankful for everything she received, she is fun to give to!
Testing out her roller blades. Notice the string still connecting the blades, she was deciding if they fit ok. She only fell three times, tears just one of those times. She ended up thinking the "Blades" were great!
Abi was able to choose what kind of cake she wanted and boy oh boy did she take that decision seriously. We looked all over Wal-Mart until she came up with a ice cream cake. This is how Abi is she was so worried about everyone else and making them happy. She really is so sweet. I hope she made a wish!
MmmmMmmmmMmm Abi picked a good cake!!
While looking through her baby book Abi found that she was born at 9:06 p.m. SO she decided that she had all day to be ten. She waited till 9:06 on the dot and then we all wished her a wonderful birthday. She told us everything that she would like to do this year that she didn't do last year. Some of those included snow borading, skiing, tubing, one might think she likes the cold. She is a funny girl whom we loved beyond words.

What a Wonderful 24th of July Weekend!!! It was my 15 year class reunion the day before the 24th and I was glad that I was able to go. I was so glad that Kev was willing to take me. There is nothing like having such a good looking man with me.
Remembering the old days with good friends. I enjoyed catching up with everyone.

We were so excited the Grandma from over the Mountian was in Beaver when we arrived. It was such a treat to be able visit with her. Mom woke up and prepared a wonderful refreshing breakfast. We loved being able to eat it out side and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Dominick highly enjoyed breakfast. Look at that mustache!

Mac living it up. He decided that he can't wait to get grass and trees in our yard.
After breakfast Mom had a special treat for the kids, a bouncy house!!!!!
They jumped and played all day long. Thanks mom for all the great entertainment.
Between jumping in the house they played with the water rocket. Ben thought this was pure heaven. I don't think he came in the whole day.
All geared up and ready for the Pioneer day parade.
Mac and Dad enjoying the parade. We were a little amazed at the size of the crowd.
What good cousins.Grandma and Dominick enjoying their time.
After the parade we headed home and made bubbles. Look at the size of these bubbles they were amazing.
They were all pretty good at getting them to work.

Two little love birds sitting on a swing!! We headed to Greenville after the festivities in Beaver and had a wonderful dinner and family home eveing.
Ben and Grandpa thinking all is well in Zion. Have good food, good family, and good weather, what more could you ask for.

We thought it would be fun to have a small birthday celebration for Abi while we were there. She was excited to be able to have party with all the family.

Uncle Joe took the kids on a four wheeler ride. They thought that was great, now all my kids including Kev want a four wheeler. Maybe some day.

Kev has decided that it is time to take advantage of where we live and see the sights around us. So our first adventure was to Cove Fort. We were really glad that we went. What a neat little bit of LDS history.
We couldn't get over the tress. They are 140 years old. The kids thought they would be good climbing trees.

The kids were able to try to play some of the games the Pioneer children played. They were a little frustrated, it wasn't as easy as they thought it would be.
Kev worked on it and got pretty good.

Kev and Ben decided that they wanted to start a water balloon fight. So they filled up a cooler full and headed over to the Wilsons house where Abi was playing with Kate. They took them on with a surprise attack! They had a great time! Although it was a surprise attack the girls came back strong and Kev and Ben returned home soaked!

As an early birthday present for Abi we bought her midnight premiere tickets to the new Harry Poter movie. She was so excited. Ever since I went the midnight premiere of Twilight she has wanted to go to a show at midnight. Kev was also able to enjoy the experience, they both had a great time. Kev said she just chatted and chatted all the way there all through the movie and all the way home, because she was so excited. They both thought the movie was pretty good as well, although Abi did say they left out a few of her favorite parts.
Sad, sad, day at the Anderson home On Tuesday July 14th our little turtle Emily passed away. Abi went out to feed her and found her gone. It was the saddest thing to see Abi sobbing over her. She kept blaming herself and that just broke my heart. We both had a good cry and then called Kev at work. In December it would have been five years that we had her.
We had a little funeral later that night and Abi wanted it to be just right. She searched around for the perfect spot one that we wouldn't be digging up to put the sprinkler system in.

One broken hearted little girl.

She found a tile from the roof that she is using as the head stone.

SAND HOLLOW
We made our annual trip to the Sand Hallow swimming pool last week. The kids had a blast. We decided to make the trip a little longer this year and headed to St. George the night before and stayed in a motel. The kids thought this was the coolest thing. Oh how I love that they get excited over the simple things. The motel had a pool and the kids were in heaven. The next day we made a trip to Lowes and fianlly ordered our blinds!!! We will no longer be living in a fish bowl. Kev had his In and Out fix and then we headed to Sand Hollow swimming pool. All the way home the kids were thanking us for staying in a motel and taking them to the pool. They make it easy to do fun things, they always appreciate it.

These pictures are a little out of order, but oh well. After the parade Kev took the kids to the lake to cool off. They had a great time.

A little sun bathing after a good swim makes you feel so good.

We were sad this year that Grandpa Russ, Aunt Tracy, Uncle Rusty, and Nathan couldn't make it, so when Jon and Megan decided they were coming we were so excited!! We loved having them here!!! We wished it could have been longer but we will take what we can get. They came on Friday and spent the day with us and then left after the parade.

Loving the parade and having my picture being taken!

My boys enjoying a great parade. It was fun to have Kev with us he usually has to work.

Abi was in the parade again this year. She had fun passing out flags to the by standers.

After the parade having fun in the park.

We really like to take our company on hikes, and Jon and Megan were not exempted. Although I am not sure how they were succored into carrying Abi!
The two little love birds!!
