Kev had a birthday shout HOORAY!!!!

October 22nd was Kev's big 36th birthday!!!! That's right 36 I know he doesn't look a day over 29 well except for the gray hair!!! What a great man he is!!!

Kev had a great day. He was remembered by so many. We truely are blessed. He even had his favorite cake, white cake with candy frosting!Happy birthday Kev WE LOVE YOU!!!

Pumpkin carving time!!!

The kids start with sketching how they would like the pumpkin to look(they each designed a side.)

I forgot to buy the pumpkin carving kit and so carving was kind of difficult,Kev got a little aggresive with the pumpkin! In the end it all turned out all right.

Here is Abi operating the yard sale. I tell you what yard sales are not for the weak in heart. They require a lot of work. It was a good sale! Now our house looks pretty empty.

Look close and you will see a crazy girl right in the middle. This is Abi's class program, Abi had her first speaking part. She did so well!

Our Mac is six!!!!!

I can not believe it! Time has gone by so fast. It just seems like yesterday he was a baby. What a blessing he is to our family. He is doing so well in school and loving it! He had a great day and we thank all who called and recognized him on his special day.

We had a little birthday party the day before Mac's birthday. We went to the bowling alley and invited a few of Mac's closest friends. Mac thought this was great!!!

One of Mac's favorite things is doughnuts. We decided having doughnuts would be fun. The kids thought it was great. Everyone else seemed to love doughnuts as well!

One can't bowl without a few snacks. The kids ate to their hearts content and had a blast bowling. I was walking around with my germ x.

Mac was blessed to receive some wonderful gifts and cards. I have always felt so lucky to have so many people care about our kids. One gift that he received was a scooter he was thrilled. He hurried and dressed and was on his way around the block.

Mac gets so exctied to pick his meals for his birthday. He chose pancakes for breakfast, mac and cheese for lunch, and taco salad for dinner. He enjoyed every meal to the fullest. After he had his dinner, he and I headed off for a date to the movie "Igor." He told me he had the BEST birthday!!!

Our friend Paul came to the house to offer some painting tips. He came on his Harley and when the kids saw it their mouths dropped and they all said "WOW." Abi was working hard to gain the courage needed to ask for a ride, finally she talked her dad into asking. Thank you Paul, you made their day!!

I had to get a picture of this. Usually when I haven't heard from Benjamin in a while it means TROUBLE!! Today on the other hand I hadn't heard from him and this is what I found him doing. What a pleasant surprise.

We decided that we would get a little crafty today. We made spooky candle holders. The kids had a great time hole punching eyes and gluing it to the candle holder. When the candle is lit it looks like many eyes looking at you.

You can't really see how cute their spooky candle holders turned out but they will be a fun decoration to have in the house. The kids were excited with how they turned out.

I have decided that I didn't want to dig all of my Halloween decoration out (they are all packed) so I bought some window cling things and the kids thought they were great. They had fun putting them up.

This weekend was General Conference. What a great uplifting conference it was. We wanted to get the kids in on the spiritual feeding and so we found "BIG" paper they thought that was so great. It worked miracles they were still and quiet for about thirty minutes!!!

Kev, Mac, and Abi had a great opportuniy a few weeks ago. They had the chance to help with CAST for kids. Cast for kids is an organization that gives special needs kids the opportunity to go fishing. Kev signed up to drive a boat and was able to take the kids with him. They were blessed to have a young man named Charlie come fishing on their boat. They thought he was the neatest person they have met. Abi and Mac were so excited to have been able to get to know him. They are ready to have him over for a movie night (he loves movies.)
