Yep it's that time of year again. It seems to come earlier and earlier every year. The kids started school on August 12th. This year was a big one for us. We now have two of our babies going to school. Mac started kindergarten. It was a bit of an emotional day for me but I did hold it together for him. I was more worried what Benjamin would do. He really thought he was going with Mac. They both had great days at school. We hope that it will be a great year.
Ok so I wasn't going to post this picture but I had to. I had to take one last peak before I left my Mac. So while I was watching I snap a shot. I just can't believe he is here. It goes so fast.

I can not believe that my angel girl is in 5th grade. She is enjoying her new class and teacher.
Our sweet little mac he is so excited to be in school. I sure do miss him though!
Doesn't he look so handsome on his first day of school!!!
Another great treat for us was that we were able to have Danielle here with us for the week. I think it was good for ben to have her here to help ease him into Mac being gone.
On August 9th (my grandmas birthday) we headed to Tropic reservior for a family reunion and to celebrate my grandmas birthday. Well we ended up being a little late, thinking that we had plenty of time because they usually lasy longer. Oh well there my excuse and I am stiking to it!! Anyway to make the trip a little longer we stopped with my mom, Andrea and the kids at the neatest museum. It is right before you go into Bryce Canyon. The man who owns it is an avid hunter and he has the most amazing collection from all over the world. He has portrayed the animals (he's taken them to a taxidermist) in their natural habitats. He has included great details. The kids thought it was GREAT!!! Thanks again mom.
Look what Benjamin found. He was walking ahead of us and when I turned the corner he was standing in amazment! This was a neat thing to see.
We were able to feed the exotic deer. I have decided that I would like some of these deer for myself they are so cute and come right up to you. I also decided that I would let people pay to feed them. HAHAHA we loved this part, (I think Kev and I enjoyed it as much if not more than the kids.)
Kev and Mac loved looking at the insects. You know I hated to look and realize that many of those nasty insects could be found in Arizona!!! They also had a amazing butterfly collection.
RUN BOYS RUN!!!! The boys walked right in to a flock of turkeys. They thought they were really cool!
We thought Grandpa in New Mexico would like this picture. Look at those turkeys!!
For Abi's birthday present her grandma and grandpa gave her a tie dying kit. She was such a sweet big sister and let her brothers share in the fun. These are the finished products. The best part about it was grandma and grandpa were here to help (I was glad for that the more hands to help the better!!!).
Tie dying is not a little process but it has great results! The kids loved making their own designs.
Grandpa and Ben were a little tired but they still hung in there and watched the process of tie dying!
We had such a great summer with many visitors. We loved it! We were able to have our little Adam come and spend a week with us and we all had a great time. When we met Grandma in Kanab we were able to visit a fun little park they have there and the kids loved it!

Ben thought this was GREAT! He started by watching everyone else, he is so timid of water, but after a few minutes he was right in the middle of it!
We had a great time at the water park. Who would believe that such a great little park exists in good ol' Kanab Utah
