Joe and Kev finally made the climb together. It was a truley amazing experience, hard, but amazing. Rim to Rim of the grand canyon in one day!! This was Kev's third time to hike it, he says it's addicting. I don't bleive him, I think he's crazy.
WELCOME SUMMER!!!! We started the summer off right, with a good nights rest on the trapoline.
We were also able to witness a solar eclipse, it was spectacular!
It was a party! We were able to have Uncle Verle, Kennyon, and Colleen come have dinner and enjoy the view through out special glasses.
The last days of school (2012) are always filled with lots of fun activitied and awards. Mac had a wonderful year and received award in reading, math, and physical education. He loved his teacher Mr. Barrnett, and came home with a different funny story or adventure they had. We feel so blessed when our kids have good years, mentally as well as emotionally. We have been blessed with some of the best teachers available.
Benjamin loved kidergarten! He loved his teacher, Mrs. Robinson so much. We feel blessed that he was able to start off his educational career with such a good teacher. Here he is at his track and field day.
One of his best friends, Jacob, they were in preschool together. We love Jacob!
Ben was in the sack race. He was amazing, that little tiny body can move! I think he lapped several kids.
What an amazing bunch! 2011-2012 was an awesome school year!!
This was Abi's last year in the middle school. I'm not sure who it was harder on, Kev or Abi. They had some great individual time together. Abi's 8th grade year had some interesting moments that helped her grow and become stronger. She was so nervous about 9th grade and very excited as well.
In post past I have put pictures of Mac crying over practicing his paino. Well we made it to the recital, and he did a great job. All that practicing paid off.
He played a duet with his teacher, it was wonderful!
For Mac's 3rd grade field trip he was able to go to Antelope slot canyons. It is an amazing opportunity, Kev and I haven't even been yet. We let him take our camera and these are the pictures he came home with (I had to delete more than a few)

Yep, love it! There were about 50 of these types of pictures.
 Mac's teacher, Mr. Barnett
 Mac's really good friend Layton
What a guy!
Boy, do we have fun in our neighborhood! Our neighbors the gardeners own Page Steel, and they always have fun things around. They bought a new rig and our family thought it was the coolest thing they had ever witnessed! For family night one Monday the Gardeners decided to give us the greatest thrill of our lives! They took us for a ride in it!!!
Miss Maggie thought it was the biggest thing EVER!
Kev loving the front seat with Doug.
When they asked if Ben wanted to honk the horn, one would think he ahd died and gone to heaven!!
The rest of us in the sleeper cabin, SO FUN!!! We are easy to entertain!

Opps! This happened before spring, but that's ok. We have a wonderful neighbor/old Bishop that had some wonderful big rocks on his property. He thought we might like some in our yard and we were so excited!! They were pretty big and thank heavens we have a wonderful neighbor who has a crane to help us get them off. We are very blessed, and so thankful for all the help.
The kids loved having a front row seat to such a fantastic show.

Having fun picking out which rock would look the best.
Welcome Spring!!
With spring comes the opportunity to plant new things. We wanted to take advantage of this and plant a peach tree. The only problem is we had to jack hammer away the sandstone and we will cross our fingers that it will grow.
Abi had fun getting in on the action. I feel bad I didn't even take a picture of the tree once it was in.
We bought a tomato plant, sadly it didn't not fair so well. We did however get a few tiny tomatoes that tasted really good. Hopefully next year we can have better luck.
Kev built a little flower bed around the tree, he did such a great job.
I took these pictures because I thought the flowers were so pretty. I am not sure why Mac and Maggie were the only two that I got pictures of (I think the other two were in trouble.) But these two sure did turn out and what beautiful children they are.

Fun times in the Anderson home.
Our princess was running one day during preschool and tripped and hit her chin just right, she split it right open and it had to be glued shut. Poor little lady.
Ben insisted I take a picture of him is his mask. What a guy!
I am the MEANEST mom in the world!! I mean really what mom makes their child practice the paino. I guess one who loves to tortue her kids, and try to make them the best they can be. One day he will thank me.

Gotta love when they find the sunscreen and take care of business.
Ummm, yep they went to school like that. Thank heavens it was bad fashion day. They sure did have so much fun being in the same school.
I walk upstairs one morning and found the boys sleeping pretty dang close to the same way. I thought it was cute.
There's our cowgirl!
Baseball! Baseball! Baseball!! The all American sport for all American boys.
Ben loved t-ball and it was even more fun because I was able to be his coach. I'm still kind of wondering how that happened, but we made it and had a great year. I loved being with him for that extra time.
Mac progressed so much this year. He hit the ball every time he was up to bat except once. He had a great time with his team, the Pirates.
What awesome boys!
